About Us

Agrigrowth Africa Association (AAA) is a private organization which leverages on research and innovation development for informed advocacy and business development in the areas of sustainable agribusiness practice, renewable energy, water and sanitation, occupational health, safety and environment.

Our major vendor is skill development to ensure the people we reach are equipped with the required competency to spur the enabling environment for adoption, adaption and application of appropriate technologies for improved livelihood.

AAA started as the Department of Agribusiness Incubation and Acceleration of the Kumasi Institute of Tropical Agriculture (KITA), and has now grown to become an autonomous center that offers women and youth the opportunity to access skill development.

Agrigrowth Africa Impact

We deploy the Business Transformative Cycle (BTC) to facilitate SME's ongoing self-discovery along the operational environment to achieve greater efficiency and productivity, leading to profitability and wellbeing.

We deliver gender transformative change for agribusiness development through the reach, benefit and empowerment approach. We therefore deploy strategies that deals with structures, systems, power relations and individual pattern of thinking that holds gender inequality in place and affect business growth.

Our collaboration with Akenten Appiah-Menka University has led to the discovery of novel and improved technologies helping to minimize post-harvest loss in fruit and vegetables.
